Winter and Christmas time can be a tricky period for lots of young adults. We know that the dark, the cold, and a focus on family relationships can make this a challenging season for many.

That’s why our winter offer at ESTEEM is so important.

Over the next few months, we’ll be working hard to host a range of sessions so that no one has to feel alone and unsupported in our community this Christmas.

Whether it’s a warm meal, new friendships, improving your mental health, or doing good in the community, there’s something for every young person at ESTEEM this winter.

As always, free warm food and activities are at the heart of our offer.

We’ll provide four or more warm meals and activities weekly alongside regular food deliveries.

We’re providing a range of free workshops and 1-2-1 support opportunities for young adults to build their resilience this winter.

This includes creative and wellbeing-focused workshops, counselling sessions, and a range of 1-2-1 informal wellbeing sessions.

And we’re taking action in our community to tackle loneliness.

Young Adults at ESTEEM have organized free board games and biscuit sessions for anyone in the community to come together.

We know our approach works:

  • 92% of young adults show improved mental health and wellbeing after engaging with ESTEEM for over a month through any of our sessions.

  • 89% of young adults report feeling more confident to meet new people after being involved with ESTEEM.

As a small charity, we rely on the support of our community.

Be there for young adults by donating today.
