We’re excited to share ESTEEM’s Strategy for 2023–2028 ESTEEM Strategy 23-28.

This isn’t a strategy written behind closed doors. It was co-created across the organisation, drawing on the expertise of Esteem young adults, staff, and volunteers.

The core direction was shaped by a working group of young adults and then developed further through 1–2–1 conversations, group sessions and cross-organisation away days. Different perspectives were brought together deliberately and thoughtfully to create the strategy you see here.

That process matters.

We believe everyone can make a meaningful contribution, and our strategy should reflect that. The way it was developed mirrors how we work every day: collaboratively, respectfully and with young adults at the centre of decision-making.

The result is a clear plan for the next 3–5 years — building on what’s working, responding honestly to financial and sector-wide pressures, and setting out how we will strengthen our impact and long-term sustainability.

It’s a living strategy, reviewed every six months and shaped by ongoing learning.

We’d love you to read it.
