Aged 14-26 and interested in photography? Join us for an incredible opportunity.

Be part of the ‘By The Sea Project’, and have your photos reviewed by world-famous photographer Martin Parr, and pioneering Brighton-Based professional photographer JJ Waller.

Your photos could then be printed and exhibited on bus shelters across Sussex as part of the ‘by the sea’ exhibition alongside JJ Waller and Martin’s photos.

Who can take part?

This session is open to all young adults aged 14-26.

How do I take part?

1. Sign Up to Esteem and select ‘By The Sea – Photography Opportunity’ in the one off opportunity drop down.

2. Join our creative collective meeting on the 20th February at 4pm to hear from JJ about the project, what we’re looking for and next steps.

If you have any questions please contact Andy on 07395 313876 or andy.nall-cain@esteem.org.uk.

What if I don’t have the camera kit or training?

No kit or training is needed!

We’re looking for people who are starting their photography journeys.

We can give you support with basic photography skills.

If you have a modern smartphone that will work well as a camera.

We can also give you space and equipment to edit your photos, and potentially lend you a camera if you do need one.

The photographs used in this page are by JJ Waller. All copyright of those photos to JJ Waller.
