Get involved in an exciting media programme and work with media professionals such as YouTubers and filmmakers. This is your chance to become a Young Producer!

What are Young Producers?

Young Producers are a small group of young adults aged 16 – 24 who will work together to find out about and share the history of Brighton & Hove and Shoreham. The work of the Young Producers will be presented to the public through the Days of Wonder programme in 2024 – 2026.

How can I get involved or find out more?

To book your spot, sign up the Esteem website and select ‘young producers’ or contact Andy on 07395 313876 or andy.nall-cain@esteem.org.uk.

What will Young Producers be doing?

Young Producers will work with the Days of Wonder team to explore the important collections of early films held by Screen Archive South East and the filmmaking objects held at Brighton & Hove Museums. They will look at what’s already known, undertake research to find out new information and draw out some of the key facts and stories they would like to share with wider audiences.

They will also work with media professionals such as video producers and and YouTubers to turn their research into interesting and engaging media content.

What do Young Producers gain by taking part?
