Counselling, also known as a ‘talking therapy’, provides you with a safe space to explore any difficult issue or feeling you are going through.

ESTEEM offers up to 24 sessions with a counsellor who will be best matched with you.

The ESTEEM counsellor is trained to work with young adults and will offer you a non-judgemental and supportive approach, where you can hopefully work things through at your own pace.

How can I access counselling? 🙋🏾‍♀️

Anyone who has succesfully signed up for ESTEEM is eligible for counselling. You can sign up for ESTEEM here.

Let any member of staff know if you’d like to access counselling at ESTEEM. After a staff member refers you, Mona our wellbeing manager will be in touch to talk about the service and answer any questions you have.

After an initial meeting to see if counselling at ESTEEM is suitable for you, Mona will match you with one of our counsellors and give you an indication of when the counselling ie likely to commence. There may sometimes be a waiting list for counselling, however we endeavour for this time to be less than 3 months.
