We’re proud to share Esteem’s 2024–2025 Annual Report!
This year marks another big step forward for Esteem, building from our grassroots energy with growing strategic focus and clarity.
As Anne, Chair of Trustees, puts it:
“We didn’t just do more, we did better. We feel incredibly proud of how far we’ve come. Looking ahead, we’ll continue to put young adults at the heart of Esteem, develop how we measure impact, and secure the Old School House, Esteem’s home in Shoreham, to preserve the last permanent, open-access youth space in West Sussex.”
Our annual report is both a celebration and, importantly, a reflection, capturing insights from staff, young adults, and trustees to give us an in-depth view of what went well and what we’ll take forward into the year ahead.
Highlights include:
- Strengthened participation: 97% of young adults said they can influence decisions at Esteem, with many leading projects, public events and even shaping staff recruitment and training. This year we increased not just the number of young adults we involved in our participation work, but the quality of our work.
- Community impact: We provided over 2,000 additional hours of support compared to last year, with more than 10,445 direct contact hours through mentoring, group activities and 1-2-1 support. Growth made possible through improved working systems, including -better onboarding and internal communication.-
We invite you to explore the full report, celebrate these achievements with us, and see how your support makes a difference.
