ESTEEM has proudly continued to run activities, counselling, mentoring and volunteering throughout all of lockdown through online virtual platforms.
With the Government’s COVID risk rating now reduced to Amber*, ESTEEM is cautiously reopening The Old School House doors to staff and young adults. We are still advised against using public transport, and some staff and young adults have increased vulnerability to COVID, so we are opening only on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am – 6pm for the time being.
After many many risk assessments, research and consultations we have set up some robust systems for The Old School House, with COVID risk measures firmly in place; as well as plans from this week to begin small group activities in the outdoors, with Tammie, our new Summer Outdoor Wellbeing Activities Assistant.
We would like to thank everyone who has helped keep ESTEEM opportunities thriving throughout the last few months and we look forward to seeing you all again in real life soon! 🙂
